MEGY Association
The Mindenegyüttmegy (MEGY) Association was registered in April 2017, but we started our actual activities in 2015 with the first Gyüttment Festival. The festival marked the beginning of a rapidly developing, vibrant community organization with a growing volunteer base and a nationwide network of supporters.
The association’s vision
The Mindenegyüttmegy Association works to strengthen the gyüttment (mover’s) community. Through their life-affirming actions, the Mover’s are working to experience and create a new ecological paradigm.
We believe that the Mover’s can create a new, natural, sustainable, and happy world to replace today’s unsustainable and wasteful lifestyle.
How do we achieve this? Through life-affirming actions!
Life-sustaining action = life-supporting action that replaces today’s consumerist, wasteful attitude with a natural, conscious, sustainable way of life. Life-sustaining action gives credibility to our words and is the only credible way to achieve a new world.
The aim of the Association
Our goal is to experience a life-sustaining, positive social vision.
The aim of the Association is to promote the creation of small rural and urban communities that implement a complete lifestyle change, thereby promoting the sustainability of society as a whole. The Association’s further aim is to promote a lifestyle based on environmental ethics, to collect and disseminate knowledge supporting the need for lifestyle change, to present and promote possible alternatives, to make lifestyle models available, and thereby to promote people’s well-being. We want healthy, clean food to be available to as many people as possible. We also support the creation of rural communities that are based on local resources, produce for the local market, and strengthen the local economy. Our fundamental goal is to organize the members of our association into a community and to promote the principle of volunteerism.
